This project involved giving a new look to an existing single family home. The current style did not have the curb appeal that the clients wanted. The goal was to create a new look and update most of the windows which were dated. With a few design suggestions and some touring of other homes in the area, the clients came up with a plan and drawings were submitted and approved.

Before Shots: Masonite siding was warping, columns widths were too thin, and the deck extended beyond the gable of porch and was unprotected.

Plans called for removing the siding, the stucco underneath it, insulate and re-sheet the walls in preparation for new siding (cement-based Hardi siding).

During Shots:

Some minor tuning to the wall and gable framing to accept the new siding.

Note new windows on side yard, photo (R) with new windows.

Note new window trim throughout. A work in-progress, designs were incorporated as we went along, checking proportions and adding features (add planters, add stone, corbels).

Stone work and Trex decking completed. Next step is siding and beam/column wraps and crowns.

Wood working almost done.
